We Start Our Adventure...

Sorry, I don't have any pictures to post this time. We have enjoyed spending some quality time here in MD with family and friends for the last week. Tomorrow we embark on our looooong trek to Germany with stops in France and Spain along the way. We were able to do some fun things with the kids here like a trip to the D.C. zoo which included their first ride on the Metro (Owen was ecstatic), and Six Flags amusement park where we spent the day in the water park (Mom & Dad got to ride a couple of roller coasters, thanks Aunt Janel!). We have loved our time in NC and will miss the friends we made their, dearly. We will especially miss our family and are grateful that no one is angry at us for taking the grandchildren away. We hope to host lots of visitors and can't wait to share our travels with you all. We'll try to post again once we get to Germany. Keep your fingers crossed that we can get settled quickly.
