It has finally happened...Evie, at 13 months and 12days old has finally taken her first steps. She has become a professional crawler (seriously you would not believe how fast she is) over the last 6 1/2 months and has never really had much desire to walk, even assisted. Whenever we would try to help her walk she would just sink back down to the floor. We finally got her going on her little push toy that she can walk with in the last few weeks. But today she took her first brave steps on her own. Of course, she had to be bribed with the cell phone to come to me, but that's really not important. Anyway, I took some pictures of her standing alone, unfortunately 2-3 steps just isn't enough time to snap a picture, especially when she is lunging her whole body at me at the last second. Maybe I can get some action shots when Rand gets home tonight. One of these days I will figure out how to upload video clips for you too. I have to say these are the moments when I am so grateful to be a stay-at-home mom and don't miss out on these milestones.

How cute is she. The attacking of the camera was the same type of trick that Ethan used to pull when we would try and capture his steps
