Owen's school put on a Christmas concert where each grade performed a few songs for all of the parents. It was really cute. Owen loves to sing and was very excited to get up in front of everyone. They sang "It Must be Santa", "Jingle Bells", and a Nativity song.
Our dear friends the Campbells moved back to the states before the holidays so we had them over for one last hurrah before they left. We let the kids make gingerbread houses for Family Home Evening (our Monday night ritual). I think they managed to eat more candy than they decorated their houses with which was most of the fun anyway. We really miss these guys.

Evie and Tatum's Cottage
We spent our very first Christmas in our own home! We have always been at one of our parents' houses since we have been married. It was really fun for the kids to be able to open their presents from Santa and just play all day! We stayed in our PJs and made Belgian waffles for breakfast. We even skyped with Rand's family at midnight Utah time so the kids could show them what they got. We did miss being with family but it was a really nice, quiet day. The favorite presents seemed to be Legos for Owen and "Baby Sarah" for Evie. We did get a Wii which has been Rand's favorite especially since we got "Rock Band" and he is now living out his boyhood dream of being a drummer. Please don't feed his ego by asking him his latest score.

looks like fun! Did I tell you that we also got a Wii? Yesterday, Keith, Regan, Michelle and I played golf, tennis and bowling! It's pretty fun!I also got a Wii fit and that's kind of fun to do if you're an old lady like me!
