I just had to post a couple of pictures of my sweet kids. I've been taking so many pictures of the places we have been visiting but neglecting to take any of how fast my kids are growing. Evie is 20 months now and is so busy. She laughs easily and is very strong-willed and knows what she wants. She loves her big brother and is so affectionate with her mama (sometimes her daddy, too). She is starting to talk a lot more and still does her sign-language but says most of the words when she signs. She even says a couple of german words and cracks the security guards up when she says "tschus!" (bye!) when we go through the gates on post. She's turned into a very girly girl recently and loves her babies and bracelets (she calls them "pretty"). We can't get enough of her chubby legs and belly, if you can't tell we just love this gal to pieces.

Evie's two best friends, her thumb & her blankie

This one's just cute
Owen is 4 and a half. He just started pre-school and loves it. He's still such a social little guy and still has his contangious laugh. He has gotten so much more independent in the last few months which has been so nice in some ways (like, finally uses the bathroom
alone in the middle of the night) but a little scary in others (refuses to hold my hand to cross the street). He is very protective of Evie and plays so well with her (they definitely have their moments, but we're really lucky- they rarely fight). Owen is starting to write his name and just got a two-wheel bike that he's learning to ride (still with training wheels). He loves our new "orange" house but misses his friends in NC. It's hard to believe our first born will be five in just a few short months. He is still our "best guy!"

This last picture I took for my sister who has recently become my Target Personal Shopper. We have already discovered some of the conveniences we miss from the states like being able to find PJs in toddler sizes (I guess German kids don't wear pajamas?) Fortunately, I happened to call my sister the other day while she was shopping at Target so I could place my order. I highly recommend this method to everyone- shipping is much cheaper and you get an expert's opinion. The kids had to model their wares when they arrived. Thanks Janel, love you!

Thanks for posting those pics of Evie and Owen. Oh, how I miss them. I love the hardwood floors in your new house. Hey, Janel told me you are looking for leggings for Evie. I found a pair of pale pink ones, size 2T, but Janel says those may be too small since she is growing like crazy. I can look for some at the stores here in Cali. Anyway, have fun.
Love ya,
Laurel
I cannot believe how big Evie is. They have both gotten so big. You do have adorable kids! Time goes by way to fast!
Wow...how did your kids grow up so quickly. Weren't they just babies the other day. I miss you guys so much, but love the pictures. Hope you are all well and enjoying your new home.
Wow, they really are getting big, especially Evie!
That was one thing I disliked about being in Germany- clothes shopping was limited...oh, and everything closing early on Saturday's! LOL
I hope you are having a great time there! We miss you guys!
Those kids are SO cute!!! I can't believe how big they are. You know what that means... :)
Love you!
Guess what? Matthew has just been called to Frankfurt Germany on his mission. I'd love to hear from you to get the scoop on weather and such! email: teribclark@gmail.com
PS I love all your photos of the scenery and the kids. Me and the girls check it out about once a week to catch up!
